I thought I’d post some of my old student work as it has a place in my heart and still remains one of the best team work experiences of my career thus far. ‘All Gates Open’ was a 2nd year university project that I was lucky enough to have directed. The initial concept was developed from ‘The Electric Ant’ By Philip K Dick by myself and Daniel Blacker. After we presented our animation idea to the year we were joined by Alex Wilkie, Laurence Hufford, Timothy Ridgarde and James Whitworth all of whom are now working in the film, tv or games industries.
I would love to remake this animation knowing what we know now, but that said, I’m still pleased with how it turned out given the limited time (and knowledge).

I must say, your work is looking very professional and classy… I really like your painting style.
